The kids will have a hoot making this star-spangled owl banner for Memorial Day!

What you’ll need • 2 sheets each red and blue card-stock; yellow and white scraps • Scrapbook paper scraps in red and blue patterns • Red and white glitter paper scraps • Medium tip black marker • Glue stick and craft glue • Hole punch • 5 (1/4") press-on gems; 3 red, 2 blue • 1 1/4" red and blue press-on letter stickers • 1 yd. 1/8" red satin ribbon 1 For patterns, enlarge one of the owls in our photo at 400%. Your child cuts pieces from cardstock, scrapbook paper and glitter paper, referring to photo for colors and adding for overlaps.
