Sorting out a mole check Q I’m fair skinned and have lots of moles. I regularly check for changes but it’s difficult to see the ones on my back. A friend told me about ‘mole mapping’. How do I arrange this? A Mole mapping is where a specialist examines all your moles and takes digital photos, these are stored and compared with images taken at future appointments so that any changes are picked up quickly. It’s a good idea. Have a chat with your GP as you may be eligible for this on the NHS. Alternatively, most private hospitals will provide the service.
