Beware the eggstra Easter eats Bet you didn’t realise just how dangerous this time of year is, did you? If you managed to survive putting your clocks forward for BST – increased risk of heart attacks and driving accidents – then Easter will definitely finish you off. ‘We know big eggs are meant to be shared, but what planet are they on?’ Seriously, no yolk. The Royal Society for Public Health (who knew there was such a thing?) has ominously warned that the prominent displays of chocolate eggs in every shop are ‘unnecessary temptation’ in a nation ‘beset by obesity’. Which I think means we’re all choccy chubsters. With Easter Sunday fast approaching, half of the UK public have already eaten at least one chocolate treat, the organisation’s polling suggests.
