Manage Your Contacts in Windows

The People app has been a part of Windows 10 for some time, but in the more recent update to Windows 11, it has had an overhaul. The People app is no longer a part of the traditional taskbar, but instead Microsoft has incorporated into the Mail app.

New People, New Apps Incorporating the People button into the Mail app is probably the more logical location for it; it’s just we’ve gotten used to it being its own app via the taskbar. Step 1 If you’ve not done so already, you’ll need to open the Mail app. Start the process by clicking on the Windows icon in the Windows 11 taskbar, or tapping the Windows Key on your keyboard. This will bring up the Apps menu and last used files. Step 2 Type ‘mail’ (without the quotes), and you’ll see the Mail app icon appear on the list of available matching apps.
