Importing to a Folder The setup steps for connecting a mobile device to your Windows computer are the same for almost all compatible Android devices. The app offers additional features for Samsung devices. Step 1 The first thing you need to do to import photos directly from a phone or camera is to connect the relevant cable to your PC. In almost all cases, this will be a USB cable of some sort. You will have been supplied a transfer cable with the device you are using. Plug this into a free USB port.
