Nadat die Gypsey-woonwareeks vyf jaar gelede gestaak is, het Jurgens Ci nou besluit om nuwe lewe in dié handelsnaam te blaas. Buiten die feit dat hy splinternuut is, is die nuwe Gypsey Lite ook ’n toonbeeld van baanbrekerswerk vir die maatskappy. Dis die heel ligste woonwa wat hulle tot nog toe gebou het, en sy brutovoertuigmassa is vasgestel op net 750 kg. Dis ’n strategiese benadering, want dit beteken enigiemand met ’n gewone ligtevoertuigrybewys (kode B) kan die Lite sleep. Verder wyk Jurgens Ci ook af van sy tipiese ontwerpe, veral met die vastedakwa. Tradisioneel het net die maatskappy se topwaens ’n vaste dak terwyl die res – selfs die Safari-boswoonwaens – met ’n opwipdak toegerus word.
