About ワンダーフォーゲル Wondervogel
山をめぐる旅へn1975年『夏山JOY』創刊に始まった『ヤマケイJOY』が、『ワンダーフォーゲル』として2011年3月に新装刊リニューアルしました。リニューアルコンセプトは「365日、山を楽しむ」です。登山は夏山や紅葉だけではなく、一年中いつでも楽しめる遊びです。『ヤマケイJOY』は春夏秋冬という季刊誌の発行スタイルでしたが、『ワンダーフォーゲル』は隔月刊行になり、「365日、山で遊ぼうよ」と、山で遊ぶ自由な気持ちを伝えます。ワンダーフォーゲルとは直訳すると「渡り鳥」という意味ですが、渡り鳥は自分たちの居場所を求めて国境を越えていく自由さをもっています。それは登山を楽しむ私たちがもっている冒険心あふれる自由な精神と通じるものがあると思い、『ワンダーフォーゲル』という名前にそのような思いを込めました。
