In this article, we will forget about time and take a look at the area as it was when the last trains used to run. And we shall focus especially on the carriages and vans. IN BONNINGUES STATION The time is 1951 and we stand in Bonningues station, more accurately Bonningues-les-Ardres. This small town, on the banks of the Hem river that used to work a water mill, displays roofs covered in red and orange Flemish tiles that turn flame-like at sunrise and sunset.
