The Krähenberg Bahn in H0-9

We discovered the Krähenberg Bahn, a splendid H0-9 creation, in the entrance hall of the Kaeserberg layout at the first edition of Passions Ferroviaires during the spring of 2022. What we did not know was that there was more to it than met the eye. Andreas Spahni, its creator, tell us the full story.

A large ex-Soviet TV2 locomotive is in charge of hanling heavy trains on the gradedd stretch of the line. This was indeed a fine discovery, a small part of an entire universe. At first sight, we knew this layout would be a superb topic for a Voie Libre article. Then, talking with Andreas, we learnt many things, heard lots of stories, but above all found out about the true history of the layout, how it all started, how it grew and how it ended.
