For this picture perfect scene showing a slice of perfect English landscape, Lesley used one of her painted landscapes to create the cross stitch design. Watching it come alive in threads will be a real pleasure. Based on an actual building in the Suffolk countryside, Lesley made sketches while out walking her dog and she based the design on those sketches. The flowers in the foreground represent the season, so for this design she chose hellebores, also known as Christmas rose, and hardy cyclamen.
