1 NY387169 From the river bridge in Glenridding, pass through the main car park to its top, and exit past the health centre to a lane. Follow it up, past the Traveller’s Rest pub, until just before it bends right, uphill. Here keep ahead on a rough lane, which runs level then drops to cross Rattlebeck Bridge.
2 NY379168 A path runs to the right of the track, then up a field. At a plantation corner, it turns up right to a gate. Through this turn left, as the built path crosses Mires Beck and runs up to the left of it, then with a wall on its left. As the slope steepens, fork right. The main path slants up across a steep slope, before turning up to the plateau above.…
