DAY 2 5 NY287291 From Skiddaw House, take the Cumbria Way in front of the house right (south). After around 1km the path splits into two, take the left-hand footpath and descend into the valley on your left. Cross the two footbridges over the beck, continue south across another footbridge over a wider beck crossing which can occasionally be in spate and flood the low bridge. If this is the case the beck can be crossed higher or lower down. Now traverse the lower uniformed slope of Blease Fell on the footpath until you reach The Blencathra Centre.
