Film about women in baseball

See Her Be Her, a documentary celebrating female athletes, has started a 12-week tour across the US.

The team that created See Her Be Her, a documentary about women’s baseball, is taking the film on a 12-city tour across the US from now until November. At each stop, they will host a screening and Q&A at an AMC Theatres location. Tickets for students ages 8 and up are free. The film is also available now on Prime Video. See Her Be Her was directed and produced by photographer Jean Fruth, who also published a photo-filled book with the same title. She is a co-founder of the nonprofit organization Grassroots Baseball and got the idea for the film after attending an all-girls baseball game. “It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen,” she told The Week Junior.
