I begged my parents to let me join it. They didn’t want to get up early to drive me to practice, which I understand. But I kept asking until they said yes. I’ve been swimming ever since. Quiet time I love how peaceful swimming is. I use it as an escape because I’m always so busy outside the pool. Once I dive in, I can’t really hear anything and it’s just me and the water.
