New Switch console is on the way

Nintendo recently made a major announcement that excited the gaming world. The company released a video revealing that the Nintendo Switch 2, a new version of its popular handheld console, will come out later this year. The original Nintendo Switch debuted in 2017. Since then, Nintendo has sold nearly 150 million of the consoles and more than 1.3 billion Switch games. Only the handheld Nintendo DS, which came out in 2004, has sold more consoles for Nintendo. One big reason for the Switch’s success is the fact that it can connect to TVs and be played on the go. Many fans knew a new Switch was coming, but Nintendo has been secretive about when it would arrive. Even now, the company hasn’t released specifics about the timing of the sequel…
