When I was in middle school, I read the Judy Blume novel Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret. To me, and to millions of others who have read it over the past 50 years, there was something very special about the story. Growing up isn’t always easy, and I felt the author really understood that. I’ve held onto that sense of appreciation and admiration for the book (and for Judy Blume!) ever since. I was thrilled when I heard the novel was being made into a movie, and I can’t wait to see it!
