Three athletes to watch in Turin

Lucy Best Representing Ireland, Best first hit the ski slopes when she was 10. She has won medals at the Special Olympics before, including the downhill skiing and giant slalom events (slalom means skiing between poles). Best loves meeting athletes and says everyone should try skiing. Stephanie Gott Representing Great Britain in figure skating, Gott says she is glad to be in Italy because the doctor who saved her when she was a baby lives there. Gott was bullied at school but she says skating gives her confidence and makes her feel “as free as a butterfly”.
