Young person’s big speech

On 28 February, 10-year-old Owen Glass gave an official speech in the House of Commons. He is believed to be the youngest person to do so. This was during a meeting of the UK Youth Parliament, which gives young people a voice in politics. Owen travelled from his home in Tristan da Cunha, an island in the Atlantic Ocean. In his speech, he said he’d like to be a car mechanic. He said, “I might be young, but like everyone here I’ve got dreams.”…
