Of all the characters in the classic The Lion King, Timon and Pumbaa bring a huge amount of comedy to the film. Accordingly, bringing a fresh spin to the famed meerkat and warthog proved a challenge for actors Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen, who endeavored to honor the original performances while making their own mark on the roles.
