IN THE WANING DAYS of the pandemic, THN’s editor at large Ronnie Shuker embarked on an eight-month cross-Canada road trip in search of all things hockey. In his trusty four-wheeled friend ‘Gumpy,’ named after Hall of Fame goalie Gump Worsley, Shuker ventured from coast to coast to coast, through all 13 provinces and territories, visiting more than 50 hockey towns in the country.
