OWNERSHIP DAN HILFERTY WHILE ADMINISTRATION IN professional hockey isn’t specifically in Dan Hilferty’s background, the ability to improve on something in virtually any business venture certainly fits into his resume. At least, that’s been the case since he took over as chairman and CEO of Comcast Spectacor, the sports-and-entertainment entity that owns the Philadelphia Flyers, in July 2023. His knack for finding the right people and the right plan to get the job done made him a natural choice when the Flyers were looking for a turn of fortunes, including the end of a playoff drought which has now reached four years.
