AGE: 56 DALLAS STARS COACH THE HOCKEY NEWS: I wanted to start off by asking you about the NHL Coaches’ Association, which has really resurrected itself in the past five or six years. What do you get out of the NHLCA? PETER DEBOER: It’s a great question. It’s definitely gone to different levels in the past five, six years. It’s been around since I entered the league 17 years ago. Scotty Bowman, George Kingston and Ken Hitchcock were the guys heading it up at that point, and I’m sure I’m missing some of the other key founders, but what do we get out of it? We get support.
