CCM SALE = $600M CDN**

SWEDISH PRIVATE-equity firm Altor Equity Partners, headquartered in Stockholm, acquired the majority of CCM, reportedly co-investing with CCM’s existing management team for a valuation of approximately $600 million Cdn. Andreas Kallstrom Safwerang, a partner at Altor and head of their consumer sector, is the point person for their ownership stake in CCM. The seller was Toronto-based private-equity firm Birch Hill Equity Partners, who acquired CCM from Adidas in 2017 for a reported $110 million U.S. In May 2024, CCM hired Robert W. Baird & Co. Limited, and they launched a sale process that generated interest from private-equity firms and others.
