SINCE 1947, THERE HAVE been a total of 19 publishers of The Hockey News during these past 77 years. When I acquired the magazine, I joined that list at the very bottom. As these past six-plus years, or eighty months, have passed, I have slowly climbed that list, passing other publishers, who have also passionately cared for The Hockey News, to where I now sit in the No. 2 all-time spot, second only to Ken McKenzie. That sounds crazy when I think of that.
