I am a long-time reader and subscriber to The Weekly. Now in my mid-70s, I can say nothing has touched me as deeply as the Going under story of the people of Telegraph Point (AWW, March). I am aghast that 12 months later, insurance companies have not finalised claims and got people back in their homes. Your article has prompted me to raise this with the Resilience team headed by Shane Fitzsimmons. Something has to change. I thank you and your team for the well-written article.…
