There are moments when legend truly manifests, and one of them occurred when Jane Goodall, the 90-year-old ethologist and conservationist, walked into the Tatler Ball last November. The room hushed as all eyes focused on her. As the audience absorbed the gravity of the moment, they realised they were in the presence of a living legend. Emotions swelled—joy, reverence, admiration and, most importantly, hope.
