A surge in franchise-related material was inevitable, and a modern board game in the War of the Ring-style equally so. CMON duly delivered, bringing a typically minis-rich mega box to market with a price tag rivalling that of the spice itself. This raises the question, is it worth fighting for? While the game is solid at one to four players, I’m going to walk through it as a two-player experience and add a little about the solo and three/four-player modes at the end.
