1 Take a seat Set up a quiet spot in the garden for a bit of ‘me’ time in the sunshine. Start with a rug or blanket on the lawn, pile up some cushions, and perhaps make a shade sail or windbreak with some pretty lengths of fabric – now you’re ready to enjoy being at one with nature. 2 Party piece Use empty drinks bottles to make a hoopla game for the kids. Swirl a little paint around the inside of the bottles to colour and leave to dry. Pour sand into each one to give some stability and use hoops made of garden wire or twine. 3 PRETTY IDEA Make a bunting cake topper with coloured washi tape.
