MY ROOM... ABOUT ME I’m Clare Charlton, 39, and I live with my husband Matthew, 41, in a detached 1950s property in Hertfordshire, which we bought in 2012. MY CHALLENGE The bathroom was very small. We decided to move it into the box room and knock through to the airing cupboard to create one large space. MY WISH LIST I desperately wanted a luxurious shower enclosure, as we were fed up of being too cramped and showering over the bath as it’s always made a huge mess. I also wanted to install a freestanding bathtub and fit lots of storage to keep towels and toiletries hidden away, so that the room would look smart and uncluttered.
