Woodpigeon (Columba palumbus) is often seen on the menus of trendy restaurants to meet public demand for sustainable, locally sourced meat. Shooters have always known that this member of the columbidae family provides a tasty and nutritious meal. The dark breast meat is a good source of iron, crucial for energy production and a robust immune system.
