Browning is a company with a long history and it has produced some great guns over the years. The 525 is a shotgun that has been popular for more than 13 years, so when I was invited to test the updated 525 Game grade one I couldn’t wait. Usually, when someone tells you it’s a grade one Browning – which is the most basic gun in the 525 range – you think the wood is going to be poor and the engraving on the action will be plain. However, I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wood.
