Aged 45, David Dale is a full-time instructor and was named CPSA coach of the year in 2012. He has been in the England Olympic Skeet team six times and captained the team once. One of the pinnacles of his shooting career was to be chosen as a shooting referee for the 2012 Olympic Games at Woolwich. David said: “It was a great privilege, but never again!” However, despite the pressure of refereeing at that level, he must have done a good job because he was persuaded to referee at the 2014 Commonwealth Games as well.
