TUITION No straight answer I see some people shooting with a bend in their front knee and some with a straight leg. What is the right method? Tony says: Everyone develops their own style of shooting, and what works for one person may not work for another. Whatever way you choose it should not be detrimental to your shooting. With the front leg slightly bent it pushes your weight forward, which helps to achieve a consistent mount. Keeping the front leg straight but lifting the back foot’s heel off the floor to push your weight slightly forward can achieve the same result. The detrimental aspect here is if your weight is too far back it will encourage head lifting and result in poor mount. Many novice shooters will lean back…
