Top Shot Martin Iddon dies
The family of Martin Iddon have paid tribute to him following his death from cancer. Martin, 77, was from Tarleton, near Preston, Lancashire. He spent his early years wildfowling on the Ribble estuary before turning to clays in the late 1970s. He secured his first win at the English Open DTL class B. He also experienced success with his son, Marcus, at the Father and Son Championship. Marcus said that his father was “well known and well liked” on the Helice circuit and won several Veterans Championships. He often accompanied Marcus and his grandson, Gareth, to competitions and was very proud of their GB team successes. He will be much missed by them, his wife, Ann, other family and his shooting friends, who will hold many fond of memories of…
