Anyone with a gundog to train in these extraordinary times must be finding it challenging. I certainly am. Due to the limitations on travel I have had to rethink my training strategy. With my normal training ground not an option, I have been making do with my garden, local playing fields and a small, rough-grass field, where it seems everyone in the village has decided to walk their dogs. Despite living here for more than 28 years, I have never seen so many dogs about and have had to be careful picking my time to get out with the cockers.
