Our friends in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland still have their movement restricted. There is no doubt that everyone will have lost something during this crisis, whether that’s a loved one, a job, income or hope. Things will be very different from now on.
Some shoots have written off the 2020 season while others are offering limited days. Clay grounds in England are beginning to reopen having spent part of their peak season in lockdown. I am optimistic that we will recover and start to rebuild what the virus has destroyed. We need to support each other, as we have done during lockdown, and help rebuild our sport.
