Rabbiting through the winter months

Do you find yourself as busy in the winter as the summer? I always find things slow down on the rabbit front in winter where I am. Ed says: It used to be that the winter was my really busy time of year and the summer was time for play. I would say things are still very busy in the winter, with ferreting daily and shooting four nights a week. Over recent years the summer has also become very busy, and I now find myself ferreting four or five days a week, with three or four evenings of shooting. Much of my winter work is large-scale farmland consisting of about 40,000 acres, while summer is often solar farms and gardens, so a slightly different type of work with different challenges.…
