Do you feed your dogs raw rabbit? If not, what do you feed them to keep them fit for working?
Ed says: It is fair to say my dogs have eaten a rabbit or two. I’m not a fan of feeding any animal dried food and try to keep their diet as natural and cheap as possible. Alongside a plentiful rabbit supply, I also have many customers who want deer removed. Heads of both species contain nutrients for both dogs and ferrets, and any damaged meat is also sent their way. Dogs have evolved around man and lived off our scraps since the dawn of time, and my animals have much the same lifestyle.
