Humans have become masterfully creative at dangerous speech, violent acts, apathy, and myriad other dehumanizing practices. I feel angry, afraid, ashamed, befuddled, and desolate. As I sit with all this swirling around inside, I realize I also feel powerless. Feeling powerless is debilitating. It robs us of knowing our innate worth, as well as how connected we are with all life.…
