THE 10TH EDITION OF SHAPE YOGA WAS A MEMORABLE MORNING FILLED WITH INVIGORATING POSES, GUIDED MEDITATION AND FUN PARTNER EXERCISES.

5.45am: That’s when participants of Shape Yoga 2018 started streaming onto SMU Campus Green, eager to roll out their mats to secure a prime spot for the highly anticipated event on Nov 3. The setting was perfect for an outdoor yoga sesh with the cool and crisp morning air, and the spotlessly clean and dry artificial turf. By 7am, the carpet of green was transformed into a medley of bright colours and it was all eyes on Pure Yoga instructors Azmi Samdjaga and Roxanne Lim. The duo led over 400 yoga enthusiasts through a revitalising vinyasa flow, starting slow with seated stretches and sun salutation poses such as downward dog and chaturanga to loosen up the muscles.
