The annual summit of the South African branch of Singularity University (or SingularityU) provided a welcome burst of optimism amid the gloom that seems to pervade our lives – and the media – currently. The summit, over three days in mid-October, hosted a terrific international line-up of speakers at the forefront of the technological advances that are transforming our world.
This year’s event, like last year, was held virtually. It incorporated the Exponential Finance Summit, which was previously a separate event.
