Die liefde oorwin alles. Dit glo die Giovannoni’s van Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, vas.Tien jaar gelede is die sportiewe, passievolle Dino met beenkanker gediagnoseer en niemand het geweet wat môre sou inhou nie. Maar trou wóú hulle. Vir Mari-Lize,’n grafiese kunstenaar, was dit liefde met die eerste oogopslag. “Ek het Dino destyds op versoek van ’n vriend by die hospitaal gaan haal nadat hy ’n biopsie gehad het. Sy avontuurlustigheid en sjarme het my dadelik betower.’’ Om voort te gaan en te trou was nie ’n maklike besluit nie, sê Mari-Lize.
