Beeldskoon in ’n meerminstylrok van sychiffon en kant, het Beatrice oor ’n persiese tapyt na Michael gestap terwyl die klanke van Amazing Grace, deur Kristene DiMarco, die katedraal gevul het. Vir hulle was die belangrikste aspek van die dag hul belofte aan mekaar en die samesyn met hul geliefdes. Hul bruilof op die Blaauwklippenwynlandgoed buite Stellenbosch was ’n treffende ontmoeting tussen eenvoud en oorvloed.
