I had the pleasure of talking about the Anafi Thermal with Chris Roberts, chief sales and marketing officer of Parrot. Here are a couple quick takeaways from our discussion.

RotorDrone Pro: The Anafi Thermal represents more movement from Parrot into the commercial sector. What is Parrot focusing on for the future? Chris Roberts: The focus in on enterprise. Parrot sees drones evolving from an eye in the sky to a complete workflow solution. It’s not just the imagery but the data set, and processing it into useful information for making timely decisions. RDP: What factors helped in the design of the Anafi Thermal? CR: Initially, Parrot designed the Anafi Thermal with firefighters in mind. Their feedback helped to add additional features, like the ability to see radiometric spot temperatures and blend thermal imaging with RBG images.
