SHARED AIRSPACE When I read about the latest developments in autonomous drone delivery, I wonder what the skies will look like in the next few years. Will small uncrewed aerial vehicles (sUAVs) circle overhead, waiting for their turn to dock at the nearest landing pad, or will drones actually take off and land from my front doorstep? And in either of those scenarios, how will these aircraft—presumably flown autonomously or at least beyond visual line of sight—avoid mid-air collisions?
