“Where have we seen that before?” AS KTM REVEALED its wild new 790 Duke this month, a tingling sense of déjà vu sparked in the back of RiDE’s collective brain. A supermoto-styled roadster, parallel-twin engine with funny firing intervals, sharp angular bodywork. Where have we seen that before? Brushing a thin layer of dusty cobwebs off our memory banks revealed the short-lived Husqvarna Nuda — a bike we first rode exactly six years ago this month. The January 2012 issue of RiDE saw Simon Weir packing his trusty yellow Shark crash helmet and flying to Sardinia to try this promising but peculiar machine.
