The first step is to dry them Stuff them with soft paper (even newspaper will do) and change it every three or four hours while storing the boots in a well-aired warm place — but not too warm. Never use a hair dryer or place them by a fire or on a radiator as fast drying can make leather or Lorica crack and plastics warp. Then clean them Many waterproof membranes stop working when clogged with dirt. Wash the outer under running water with a sponge (don’t use any solvents), then wipe down with a cloth and let them dry naturally. Treat the boots regularly with a speciality leather product. Store boots in dry well-ventilated areas when not in use and keep them zipped up so they retain their shape.…
