Of all the Monsters in Ducati’s current range, the biggest seller in Britain is not the fast and flashy 1200 S, not the track-ready 1200 R and not the affable, air-cooled 797. It’s the midrange Monster 821, the best compromise — substantial, serious and speedy enough to offer big-bike thrills, but still manageable, polite and accessible.
