Q We have six days to tour in Europe next year and want to visit the Nürburgring, the KTM factory in Austria and Grimsel Pass in Switzerland. People have said that’s too ambitious. Is that right? A There’s no right or wrong. If you want to spend most of your six days on motorways, that’s your prerogative. But it’s certainly an ambitious list of destinations for a six-day trip. We’d do any two of the three on the one trip — and as the KTM factory doesn’t have a visitor centre or offer tours and its museum isn’t open yet (some time in 2018) we’d knock Austria off the list. The UK to the Ring, through the Black Forest to Switzerland, then back up through the Vosges sounds a good trip.…
