SORRY TO BE the bearer of bad news, but winter’s just around the corner. Now, it’s all to easy to let that put you off riding but it would be a terrible shame to mothball the bike ‘till spring — anyway there’s no greater need for that ‘motorcycle therapy’ than during the long, grey, miserable winter months, surely? Putting the therapeutics to one side, there’s also the simple fact that if you’re off the bike half the year, your road skills won’t be anywhere near as sharp come spring. Tackling the tricky conditions winter can throw at you really hones your riding. During our travels, we’ve battled horrendous gales, slithered through snow storms and almost drowned in torrential rain. Each experience has left us with a vivid memory of feeling wildly alive…
